Assistant Duty Manager – The Showroom Workstation
Part time, 20 hours per week contract
£15,292.53 per annum, pro rata’d to contracted hours (salary based on 37 hours)
Hours normally worked over five days and including weekend and evening work
Assistant Duty Managers are key in the day to day operation of our business. The post holder will support the Duty Manager in overseeing all operations: Front of House, Café/bar and conferencing, as required. This will include maintaining standards of operational procedures, adhering to the timed scheduling of the building, but above all managing and motivating our Customer Service Assistants to provide the best possible customer service for our clients.
Please note, this post involves the sale of alcohol, so applicants must be 18 or over.

Customer Service Assistants Wanted
Variable hour contracts (subject to requirements – please note that weekend shifts will be required on a rota basis)
Rate of pay: £7.13 per hour, or NLW, if applicable
Showroom Workstation is an independent charity, operating an integrated media arts complex with café/bar, conference and events facilities, four-screen cinema and creative industries managed workspace.
We are looking for several Customer Services Assistants (CSA) to join our team. As a CSA, you will be a key point of contact for our customers, anticipating and being responsive to their needs, and taking general responsibility for the safety, satisfaction and comfort of all visitors to the venue.
Experience is not needed, we’re looking for staff with great people skills, with a passion for excellent service. Bar and events experience would be helpful, but full training will be given to the right candidates. If you are friendly, flexible and have a helpful can-do attitude we’d love you to apply. Please note however that this post includes the sale of alcohol for which you will need to be over 18.
