Shooters in the Pub will be back on Monday, 9th April!
Note please that Shooters in the Pub is one week later than normal in April due to the Bank Holiday (Easter Monday). And (heads up) May’s SitP will be the same and will take place Monday 14th May!
Come and join us at Shooters in the Pub on 9th April and catch up with your fellow filmmakers, writers, producers, directors, sound recordists, editors, actors, and many more! Plus, members of the SYFN and/or Shooting People get a free drink on entry!
In April and May we will be welcoming some guest speakers to talk to you about things you might like to be aware of: watch this space for more info about that!
We start at 6.30pm and go til late, at The Rutland Arms, 86 Brown St, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S1 2BX
Shooters in the Pub is a monthly networking night for film creatives, hosted by Shooting People. The event is free and open to anyone interested or working in film, so free free to bring some friends – the more the merrier! You can also find out more about Shooters in the Pub, over on the Facebook group: www.facebook.com/groups/shootersinsheffield/ – and join the group, there are over 850 members!
What is Shooters in the Pub? (a little more info…)
Want to meet more like-minded filmmakers? Want to connect a bit more with the filmmaking community in Sheffield and the South Yorkshire region? Well look no further – this is the place to come!
Shooters in the Pub is a friendly, no-rules kind of event – no screenings, no structure, nothing but good chat and a few drinks and good ol’ networking. We simply come together, talk about our projects, and talk about how we can help each other. Paying members get a free drink on arrival too.
We do this in the name of Shooting People, the awesome national network of filmmakers – you can find them on www.shootingpeople.org – they have events all over the country on the first Monday of every month (except when that’s a Bank Holiday), and we are their Sheffield branch!
