After its terrifically successful pilot last year, Doc/Dinner is back in 2018, connecting emerging talent with top industry executives from broadcast and digital platforms in a relaxed, informal setting.
20 young filmmakers will have dinner with 10 industry leaders including Doc/Dinner founder Reggie Yates. Industry guests will rotate tables throughout the evening to ensure everyone connects. The evening will be MC’d by BBC presenter Mim Shaikh.
Commissioners from BBC, Channel 4, Doc Society, The Guardian and VICE/i-D are confirmed to take part.
Filmmakers aged 18-25 are invited to apply for a spot. Selected participants must have a Doc/Fest Festival Pass. Priority will be given to applicants from backgrounds and regions that are underrepresented in the film industry.
Doc/Dinner will take place during Sheffield Doc/Fest, 6-9pm on Monday 11 June.
