SYFN provide an affordable high-quality film production service to suit your needs. We shoot in HD or 4K, have multiple cameras and sound recording devices, and can sculpt a product for most any budget.
Our Events
SYFN organise events like monthly screenings of short films, free networking meetings for filmmakers and competition. Check this section out to see what is happening every month and how you can get involved and be a part of it.

The SYFN now owns a range of film equipment for hire! We will offer very competitive rates for Syfn members to hire the gear, as well as great hire rates for non-members.

The South Yorkshire Filmmakers Network has been a great help to me for the past two years. I highly recommend this group to anyone with an interest in filmmaking Marco Van Belle’s Directions Masterclass organised by the SYFN was absolutely brilliant. It was an eye opening, informative and indispensable part of a great series of events, all helped by its small informal and intimate structure. I joined SYFN because I wanted to meet some enthusiastic and friendly filmmakers, and pick up some experience in scoring. It was the perfect group for me, with people of all experiences, and I’ve gone on to work with many of them. Great event, brilliant networking and really fun! Got a lot out of the talks on the launch event. Learnt new skills (risk assessment, professional location scouting, etc) on the shoot. Had a lot of fun at the award ceremony! The best Industry Day I have ever been to What an amazing launch event it was too, really great! The amount of work you must put into it is phenomenal, but it really shows What an ecstatic, eclectic and vibrant mash of talent, confidence and downright excitement! Part of my love of what I do is being able to surround myself with awesome people who love what they do. The crews and bands on display for 2Weeks2 Make It this year make me humbled and proud to be part of such an AWESOME project, AWESOME community, and SUPER-AWESOME Filmmakers Network!
