Welcome to Reels of Steel – Film Festival 2026!

Our Festival is all about breakthroughs from the emerging filmmakers of Sheffield Hallam Films. Led by the MA Filmmakers, the festival features a variety of events, from film screenings to talks and Q&As with industry professionals.

From documentaries about humanity and nature to comedy and thriller dramas revolving around relationships and self-persistence, RoSFF 2026 is eager to present our filmmakers’ original works on the big screen.

Industry guests and talks include FAR NORTH FILM, sharing insights into navigating the world of independent filmmaking, as well as an exclusive trailer screening from ADIRA and ENON FILMS: The Pendulum with a crew and trainee QnA Panel afterwards.

Last but not least, don’t miss the opportunity to connect, mingle, and build your network with our MA students. Talk to them about their work, skills, ambitions, and future. Free drinks will be provided at 7pm, so make sure you don’t skip it!
